Returning Your Alabama Ballot From Overseas
Alabama's instructions do not mention returning a ballot by fax.
Alabama lets a military or overseas voter return a voted ballot by mail or commercial carrier, or electronically when located outside the United States; the Secretary of State names no fax return. Source
An Alabama military or overseas voter receives the blank absentee ballot by U.S. mail, or electronically by requesting electronic ballot transmission on the application and giving an email address; the Secretary of State names no fax delivery.

Deadlines
An Alabama UOCAVA ballot returned electronically must arrive by 11:59 p.m. on Election Day; a mailed UOCAVA ballot postmarked by Election Day counts if received by noon on the seventh day after the election.
