Share a fax account with your team, and add the numbers you need

Faxing is rarely one person's job. The number goes on a form, a reply matters to whoever is at the desk that day, and the record of what was sent belongs to the office rather than to whoever clicked send. A FaxTerra account used to be one person with one number, so offices shared a login or ran separate accounts and lost the shared history. Both halves are now solved: the people who need access get their own sign-in on one account, and the account can hold as many numbers as the office publishes.

Who it's for: Offices and practices where more than one person faxes, or where more than one number goes on the paperwork.

1

Invite your team to one account

Invite colleagues from Settings and they sign in as themselves, on the same account. Everyone sees the same inbox, the same sent history, and the same pool of pages, so a fax is findable by whoever needs it rather than sitting in one person's login.

Each person has a role. Members send and receive; admins also invite people, buy pages, and manage the plan; the owner can additionally hand the account over or delete it. How many people fit is set by your plan: Business and Pro include up to 5, and the Healthcare tiers go higher. Joining a team changes nothing about your own account, which stays yours alongside it.

2

More than one fax number on the same account

Every paid plan includes one fax number. When one is not enough, a separate number for billing, a second office, a line you publish on a different form, you add it to the subscription you already have for $3.99 a month, or $39.90 a year on annual billing.

Extra numbers give you more numbers, not more pages. Every number on the account receives into the same inbox and draws the same monthly allowance, so nothing about your pages changes. You add one from your fax numbers page, picking the country and area code the same way you did the first time. Nothing is charged that day: the confirmation shows the prorated amount added to your next invoice and what your subscription becomes from then on, before you agree to it.

See more than one fax number for adding, removing, and choosing which number your faxes go out from.

3

Numbers and people move without losing anything

A number set up on a personal account can move to the account that should own it, so the number your practice depends on ends up where it belongs. Faxes stay with the account they happened on, which keeps each account's record intact through the move.

The same holds when people change. Someone leaving a team takes nothing with them: the faxes they sent stay in the account's history, because they are the office's business record. And if you move to a smaller plan, you keep every number you hold; the ones beyond what the new plan includes carry on as add-ons at the ordinary price.
