How do I fax a PDF for free?
Every account gets 10 free pages each calendar month to any supported country. The pages reset on the 1st.
Can I fax a password-protected PDF?
Yes. When you attach it on the send page or in the app, FaxTerra asks for the password once to unlock that file. FaxTerra does not store it. If you do not have the password, ask whoever sent you the PDF for an unlocked copy.
Will a form I filled in on screen fax with my answers?
Yes. A fillable PDF you completed sends with the values you typed, and the preview shows them. A dynamic form that shows only a "get Adobe Reader" page outside Adobe cannot be sent directly. Open that one in Adobe, print it to a new PDF, and upload the new file.
Can I fax a scanned PDF?
Yes. The preview shows each scanned page in black and white, as it will print. Check that the text is readable before you send.
How many pages can a PDF be?
There is no page limit. Each file can be up to 200 MB. A document over 100 pages goes out as several faxes at the same total cost. Pages past your free 10 a month come from a credit pack. Sending a large fax has the cost at each length.
Can I send several PDFs in one fax?
Yes. Attach as many PDFs and photos as the fax needs. They merge into one fax in the order you add them, and each fax goes to one number.
What does the recipient receive?
Printed pages on their fax machine, or a file if they use an online fax service. They get only the pages you saw in the preview, with no ads or watermarks added.
