Wealthfront Fax Number for Documents
Wealthfront handles almost everything in the app. The one fax number it publishes sits on the estate paperwork, where the documents cannot be uploaded by the person they belong to.
10 pages free every month. No credit card.
One line, for the documents the app cannot take
Wealthfront’s contact page lists no fax number, and its support guidance is to upload account documents through the app. The exception is estate paperwork, and that is where the published fax number lives: (800) 366-1679 is printed on the beneficiary and executor identification form, next to the Wealthfront Brokerage address in Palo Alto.
The reason is structural. A beneficiary or an executor does not have the account holder’s login, so the in-app uploader is not available to the person who has to send the document. Fax and mail are what remain.
If you do have access to the account, upload instead. It is faster and it lands attached to the account rather than in a general intake queue.
What people fax to Wealthfront
The documents that go to this line are the ones a beneficiary or executor assembles:
- The beneficiary or executor identification form itself
- A certified death certificate
- Letters testamentary or letters of administration
- Government photo identification for the person making the request
- Any court document establishing authority over the estate
An estate package commonly runs six to twelve pages once the certificates and identification are included, which is past the free monthly allowance. One credit pack covers it.
The line takes documents in, it does not answer
Wealthfront’s document intake receives pages and nothing more. A person reviews the package and Wealthfront responds by email or by phone to the contact details on the form. Nothing comes back by fax and there is no fax acknowledgment.
The delivery receipt is the record you keep. FaxTerra confirms the moment the receiving machine accepted your pages and records the time and page count, which is worth having when you are handling an estate and tracking several institutions at once.
Verify the number before you send
- Download the current beneficiary and executor identification form from wealthfront.com and read the fax number off it rather than from a search result.
- Use the in-app upload instead if you have access to the account. Fax is the route for people who do not.
- Fill in your own contact details on the form. This line does not reply by fax, so the phone number and email you write are how Wealthfront reaches you.
- Never fax wire instructions, a full bank routing and account pair, or login credentials. A sent fax cannot be recalled.

Create a free FaxTerra account with an email address, upload the completed form and supporting documents as a PDF or as phone photos, enter the Wealthfront number, and send. A delivery confirmation arrives by email.
Short documents send free within your monthly free pages, and a full estate package is covered by a one-time credit pack from about 10¢ a page. Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Wealthfront fax number?
Wealthfront prints (800) 366-1679 on its beneficiary and executor identification form as the document-intake line for Wealthfront Brokerage. Its contact page publishes no fax number.
Should I fax or upload my document?
Upload if you have access to the account. Wealthfront asks for most account documents through the app, and an upload attaches directly to the account. Fax is the route for a beneficiary or executor who cannot sign in.
What do I send with the executor form?
A certified death certificate, letters testamentary or letters of administration, and government photo identification for yourself. The form itself lists what Wealthfront requires for your situation.
How will Wealthfront respond?
By email or phone, using the contact details on the form. Nothing comes back by fax, so keep your delivery receipt as the record that the package arrived and when.
Is FaxTerra affiliated with Wealthfront?
No. FaxTerra is an independent online fax service. We deliver your document to the number you enter and confirm when it arrives. We cannot see a Wealthfront account or act on an estate request.
