Wealthfront Fax Number for Documents

One line, for the documents the app cannot take

Wealthfront’s contact page lists no fax number, and its support guidance is to upload account documents through the app. The exception is estate paperwork, and that is where the published fax number lives: (800) 366-1679 is printed on the beneficiary and executor identification form, next to the Wealthfront Brokerage address in Palo Alto.

The reason is structural. A beneficiary or an executor does not have the account holder’s login, so the in-app uploader is not available to the person who has to send the document. Fax and mail are what remain.

If you do have access to the account, upload instead. It is faster and it lands attached to the account rather than in a general intake queue.

What people fax to Wealthfront

The documents that go to this line are the ones a beneficiary or executor assembles:

• The beneficiary or executor identification form itself
• A certified death certificate
• Letters testamentary or letters of administration
• Government photo identification for the person making the request
• Any court document establishing authority over the estate

An estate package commonly runs six to twelve pages once the certificates and identification are included, which is past the free monthly allowance. One credit pack covers it.

The line takes documents in, it does not answer

Wealthfront’s document intake receives pages and nothing more. A person reviews the package and Wealthfront responds by email or by phone to the contact details on the form. Nothing comes back by fax and there is no fax acknowledgment.

Verify the number before you send

• Download the current beneficiary and executor identification form from wealthfront.com and read the fax number off it rather than from a search result.
• Use the in-app upload instead if you have access to the account. Fax is the route for people who do not.
• Fill in your own contact details on the form. This line does not reply by fax, so the phone number and email you write are how Wealthfront reaches you.
• Never fax wire instructions, a full bank routing and account pair, or login credentials. A sent fax cannot be recalled.
