Fax Your New Hampshire Benefits Paperwork
The fax line each New Hampshire agency publishes for Medicaid and CHIP, SNAP, unemployment, state leave benefits, and state tax, with what that office asks you to put on every page.

Where to fax it
No New Hampshire agency below publishes a general fax line for its program's documents: 2 take no fax and say where to send instead. Each row says what its line takes.
The office asks for your case number on every page. Put it on every page you send, and keep the fax receipt. An office that cannot match a page to a case has to set it aside, and the receipt is what proves you sent it before the deadline.
Call before you send. Agency fax lines change and some stop answering. A short call confirms the number and whether that office is the one holding your case.
New Hampshire Health and Human Services publishes no fax for a Medicaid application: it takes one online through NH EASY, or on paper mailed to the applicant's local District Office.
A New Hampshire Health and Human Services appeal is made in writing, on the department's Appeal Request form or in a letter, and is normally filed within 30 days of the date on the Notice of Decision.
New Hampshire takes a SNAP application on the same Application for Assistance it uses for cash and Medicaid, filed online through NH EASY or mailed to a local District Office, and publishes no fax for it.
New Hampshire allows 90 days to appeal a SNAP decision, against 30 days for every other Health and Human Services programme, and benefits can continue if the appeal is filed within 15 days.
New Hampshire Employment Security requires the layoff spreadsheet to be faxed and says it must not be sent as an e-mail attachment.

What the fax costs on FaxTerra
This is what FaxTerra charges to send it. It is not a fee the office charges.
Every FaxTerra account gets 10 free pages a month, and a page to a US fax number counts as one. A renewal or verification packet of up to 10 pages sends free, with no credit card.
Free pages reset on the 1st. If a second packet in the same month takes you past 10 pages, a FaxTerra Lite pack covers it, with no subscription.
Questions
What do I put on every page I fax to a New Hampshire agency?
Your case or client number, your name, and your date of birth, unless the row below says the office asks for something else. A page that arrives without a case number has to be matched by hand, which is the slowest path through any agency.
Can I fax a New Hampshire agency without a fax machine?
Yes. Upload the pages from your phone or computer, enter the office's fax number, and send. The agency receives it as a fax. Every account gets 10 free pages a month, and a page to a US fax number counts as one.
What if the fax line does not answer?
Call the number in that office's row before you try again. A line that rings and never connects will not start working on a retry, and the office can tell you whether the number changed or whether it wants the document another way.
One of these offices takes no fax at all. Is that right?
Yes, and that row quotes the agency saying so. Faxing a document to an office that does not accept faxes loses the document with no record that you sent it, so use the channel the row names instead.
Is this an official New Hampshire site?
No. FaxTerra is a fax service. New Hampshire and the office you are writing to set the rules and decide your case; every number and requirement here is linked to the agency's own page under official sources.
