Carrington Mortgage Services Fax Numbers
Carrington publishes a separate fax line for each servicing department. Match your document to the right one below, then send it free from your phone or computer.
10 pages free every month. No credit card.
Which Carrington fax line you need
Carrington’s contact page is unusually explicit: each servicing function gets its own address and its own fax.
(800) 486-5134 is customer service. Notices of error, requests for information (a qualified written request), and direct disputes about credit reporting go there.
(866) 493-1441 takes property insurance documents, and (866) 328-0330 takes loss-draft paperwork after a claim. Both of those are operated by SWBC, an outside vendor working on Carrington’s behalf, so the destination may change independently of Carrington’s own contact details. Read them from the Carrington page each time rather than from a saved note.
(817) 826-0406 takes property tax bills and exemption notices, and (949) 861-9015 reaches the Customer Advocacy Group for an issue that has already been through normal servicing without resolution.
One gap is worth knowing about: Carrington publishes no dedicated loss-mitigation fax. Its mortgage assistance page gives a mailing address in Orange, California, and no fax number. The customer service line is a general intake, so if you fax an assistance package there, say clearly on the cover page that it is a mortgage assistance application.
What borrowers and agents send to Carrington
Split by who is sending:
- An insurance agent sends the declarations page or binder showing Carrington as mortgagee, with the ISAOA/ATIMA clause, plus renewal and cancellation notices
- A homeowner after storm or fire damage sends adjuster reports, contractor bids, and endorsement requests to the Loss Draft Department
- A homeowner or a county sends property tax bills and exemption notices
- A borrower disputing a statement sends a notice of error or a request for information to customer service
- A borrower whose issue has stalled sends the history to the Customer Advocacy Group
Put the loan number on every page. Carrington asks for it explicitly on insurance and tax correspondence.
These are intake lines
None of the five numbers answers by fax. Carrington and SWBC reply by mail or phone, or post an update in your online account.
That matters most for insurance. When you fax a declarations page to keep lender-placed coverage off the loan, nothing acknowledges it, so your delivery receipt from FaxTerra is the record showing the pages arrived before the deadline. Keep it with a copy of the policy.
Verify the number before you send
Insurance and claim documents carry the property address, the policy number, and often a claim check amount:
- Read the fax number off carringtonmortgage.com/contact-us for the department you need, or off the Carrington letter you are answering.
- Insurance and loss-draft lines are run by a vendor, so re-check those two even if you faxed them last year.
- A payoff statement is requested through Carrington online form, and Carrington can deliver the statement to a fax number you specify. That is a different flow from sending documents in.
- Do not reuse a fax number from a mortgage directory site.
How to fax Carrington without a fax machine
Create a free FaxTerra account with an email address, upload the document as a PDF or as photos taken with your phone, enter the department number, and send. A delivery receipt arrives by email.
A declarations page or a tax bill sends free within your monthly free pages. A claim package with photographs and estimates is covered by a one-time credit pack from about 10¢ a page, and an insurance agent sending proof for several clients each month is the case the Starter plan ($4.99/month, 50 pages) is sized for. Can Carrington fax me a payoff statement?
Carrington takes third-party payoff requests through an online form and can deliver the statement to a fax number you supply. That is a separate process from faxing documents to the servicing lines above.

No. FaxTerra is an independent online fax service. We deliver your document to the number you enter and confirm when it arrives. We have no access to Carrington systems or your loan.
