Edfinancial Fax Number

Edfinancial moved to a studentaid.gov address, and the fax numbers that circulate online predate the move. Here is how to get the current one before you send a federal form.

This page does not print an Edfinancial fax number

Edfinancial’s federal student loan servicing now runs at edfinancial.studentaid.gov, and its old contact page redirects there. The new page does not serve its content to outside requests, so its fax numbers cannot be quoted and confirmed the way a published document can.

Two numbers described as Edfinancial fax lines, a toll-free one and a local Tennessee one, are widely republished on third-party sites. Both predate the move to the studentaid.gov address, and neither can be checked against a current Edfinancial page. This page prints neither, because a federal form carries your Social Security number and income, and a wrong destination cannot be recalled.

Edfinancial does accept documents by fax. Get the number from Edfinancial itself and it is a fine way to send.

How to get the current Edfinancial fax number

In order of reliability:

  • Read the submission instructions on the form you are completing. Federal forms such as the PSLF form and the income-driven repayment application name their own destination, and that governs.
  • Sign in at edfinancial.studentaid.gov and open the contact page, which lists the current phone, fax, and mailing details.
  • Call Edfinancial using the number on your billing statement and ask the representative to read the fax number for your document back to you.
  • Confirm on StudentAid.gov that Edfinancial still services your loans before sending anything, since assignments move and forms are not forwarded between servicers.

What borrowers are usually sending

The documents behind most of these searches:

  • The Public Service Loan Forgiveness form with employer certification
  • Income-driven repayment applications and annual recertification
  • Income documentation, such as pay stubs, when a tax return does not reflect current earnings
  • Deferment and forbearance requests
  • Enrollment verification

Most run three to eight pages once the supporting documents are attached. Put your Edfinancial account number on every page.

Once you have the number, verify and send

Before you send:

  • Match the number you were given against the instructions printed on your form.
  • Send the complete package in one transmission. Reviews restart on incomplete files, and a form split across two faxes often reads as incomplete.
  • Use a cover page with your name, account number, and the form name.
  • Keep the delivery receipt. Nothing comes back on the fax line, so the receipt is your dated record.

How to send it with FaxTerra

Create a free FaxTerra account with an email address, upload the signed form as a PDF or as photos of each page, enter the number Edfinancial gave you, and send. The delivery receipt arrives by email with the destination and the time the pages were accepted.

A short form sends free within your monthly free pages, a package with income documentation is covered by a one-time credit pack from about 10¢ a page, and the Starter plan ($4.99/month, 50 pages) covers a year of federal paperwork. See how to send a fax for accepted files and page limits, faxing financial documents for the wider picture, and the Nelnet guide for a servicer that prints its fax number on the form itself.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Edfinancial fax number?

Edfinancial does not publish one in a form that can be verified from outside, and this page prints none. Get the current number from your form submission instructions, from the contact page inside your account at edfinancial.studentaid.gov, or from a representative on the phone.

Why do search results show two Edfinancial fax numbers?

Those come from the older edfinancial.com contact page, before federal servicing moved to a studentaid.gov address. They cannot be checked against a current Edfinancial page, so they are not printed here.

Where do I send my PSLF form if Edfinancial services my loans?

Follow the submission instructions printed on the Public Service Loan Forgiveness form. Federal forms name their own destination, and those instructions take precedence over a general contact number.

How do I confirm Edfinancial is my servicer?

Sign in at StudentAid.gov and check the servicer listed for each loan. Servicing assignments change, and a form faxed to a former servicer is not forwarded.

Is FaxTerra affiliated with Edfinancial?

No. FaxTerra is an independent online fax service. We deliver your document to the number you enter and confirm when it arrives. We cannot look up your loans or reach your servicer for you.
