Which Huntington fax line you need

Huntington publishes fax numbers in several places rather than one directory, and the right one depends entirely on which team is waiting for your document.

Mortgage correspondence. Qualified written requests, escrow documents and general servicing letters go to Mortgage Customer Service at (614) 480-6009.

A paid-off car loan. Lien satisfaction and lien release letter requests go to Title Administration at (877) 293-7409.

Trouble paying a mortgage. Hardship packages and payment assistance forms go to the Home Savers Department at (877) 692-5379.

Military orders. SCRA requests with orders or a DD-214 go to Customer Advocacy, SCRA Management at (877) 674-6738.

Business banking. Treasury Management takes documents at (614) 331-5357 and International Trade Services at (888) 409-9486. A dealer funding package goes to (800) 480-2044 with the Application Identification Number on it, and that line is for dealers rather than borrowers.

A few requests have no published fax. Subpoenas and court orders go to a mailing address only. Auto loan insurance and lienholder proof has a mailing address but no fax number, so do not send a declarations page to the title line. Local mortgage banking offices publish their own branch fax numbers; those belong to one office, not to a servicing queue.

What customers send to these lines

The documents Huntington expects by fax are servicing documents with a signature or an official source:

• Written mortgage requests, escrow correspondence and payoff-related letters
• A lien release or lien satisfaction request after an auto loan is paid off
• A hardship package with income documents, or the government forms a mortgage program requires
• Military orders or a DD-214 with an SCRA benefit request
• An ACH dispute statement of unauthorized debit, on the form Huntington publishes

A lien release request is a page or two. A hardship package with a full income file is where page count starts to matter.

These lines take documents in, not out
