Who can do what

When a fax arrives
Every received fax lands in the shared inbox as a PDF. Each person on the account gets an email at their own notification address, and the iPhone and Android app sends a push notification. Every paid plan includes one fax number, and sending and receiving draw from one monthly pool the whole team shares:

- Business: $9.99/month, 210 pages a month, and received faxes kept a year by default
- Pro: $29.99/month, 1,010 pages a month

How to set up a team fax line
- Choose a plan and pick your fax number. In the US and Canada you choose the area code and the exact number.
- Invite colleagues by email from Settings, under Team. The link is good for 7 days, and the person needs no FaxTerra account first.
- Give the number to the people who fax you. Everyone on the account sends from it and sees what arrives.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a per-user fee?
No. Every plan takes as many people as you like at no extra cost. A team of five pays the same $9.99 a month on Business as one person does, because the plan prices the pages and the number.
Can each department have its own fax number?
Yes. Extra numbers are $3.99/month each on the same subscription. Every number receives into the same inbox and draws the same monthly pages, and the primary number is the one your faxes go out from. See extra fax numbers.
Does each person need their own FaxTerra account?
Yes, each person has their own sign-in, and the invite link creates one for anyone who has none. It signs them in, or up, as the invited address and joins them to the team. Joining changes nothing about a person's own account. They keep their own plan, number and history, and switch between accounts from the account menu.
Can the team keep the fax number we already use?
Usually. A US or Canadian local number can move to FaxTerra free with any paid plan when your current provider releases it, and a free check tells you first. Your current service keeps working until the transfer completes. See porting a fax number.
Can we fax from our phones?
Yes. The same account, inbox and sent history are on the web and in the FaxTerra app for iPhone and Android, so a fax sent from a phone shows in the office's history.
