Which countries can I fax?
FaxTerra sends to fax numbers in dozens of countries, on free pages, credits, and subscriptions alike. A page outside the US and Canada counts as two.
Where you can send
FaxTerra can send to fax numbers in 27 countries — including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Australia, Japan, and many more. The send form lists every supported country; if a destination is not on the list, a fax to it will not go through. For what a fax abroad costs and how to enter the number, see send an international fax and the country guides for the UK, Germany, Australia, Japan, and Austria.
Pages outside the US and Canada count as two
Every kind of page reaches every supported country: the 10 free pages each month, a plan's included pages, and credits. A page to a number outside the US and Canada counts as two, in every one of those pools, so the free pages cover 5 international pages a month and a credit pack buys half as many international pages as domestic ones. The send form says so under the page count (four pages count as eight) before you send, and the receipt and your sent history say what the fax counted as. See what you can fax for free and what the plans include.
Faxing from outside those countries
Where you physically are does not matter — only the destination does. You can sit anywhere in the world and fax a supported country exactly as if you were there. If you also need to receive replies, receiving numbers are available in United States, Canada, New Zealand, and United Kingdom; see how receiving works.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I fax internationally?
Yes. FaxTerra reaches fax numbers in 27 countries, on free pages, credits, or a subscription. The send form lists them all. A page outside the US and Canada counts as two.
Can I use my free pages to fax another country?
Yes. Every account gets 10 free pages a month, and they send to any supported country. A page outside the US and Canada counts as two, so the free pages cover 5 international pages a month.
Do I have to be in the US to fax a US number?
No. Your own location never affects whether a fax goes through — only the recipient's country does. You can fax a US number from anywhere in the world.
How do I enter an international fax number?
Choose the destination country first, then type the number the way it is dialed locally, with or without the leading 0 some countries use for domestic calls. The field shows the number exactly as it is sent after the country code, so a Seoul number typed as 02-780-8096 appears as +82 followed by 2 780 8096; the domestic 0 is dropped automatically. Do not add a 0 after the country code yourself; the form will not accept it.
