Can I move my fax number to another provider?
Yes. Any number on your account can be transferred to another provider, whether you brought it in or picked it here. There is no fee to leave.
Ask your new provider to start the transfer
Transfers are always started by the provider you are moving to. Tell them you are transferring a number away from FaxTerra; we cooperate with the request and release the number when it is approved.
They will ask for a few details. Sign in, open your fax numbers page, and choose "Taking a number to another provider?" at the bottom; it lists exactly what to give them. If they need anything not listed there, contact support.
Keep your FaxTerra plan active until the number has moved
A number FaxTerra assigned you is released when your paid period ends and cannot be recovered, so do not cancel while the transfer is in progress. Your number keeps receiving faxes here until the moment it switches over to your new provider.
Cancel once the transfer is complete
When your new provider confirms the number is live with them, cancel your FaxTerra plan whenever you like. There is no exit fee.
